I might still be in high school, but I have experience creating lesson plans and learning games from tutoring students in Mandarin. As a student myself, I can understand what it feels like to be frustrated while learning, and I know that patience and compassion is the best way to help a child in their time of need. Everyone has their own learning journey, and I hope I can instill in the children the idea that it's okay to not understand something on the first try. In my free time, I love to be active, especially by playing tennis with my dad. I’ve been studying Russian for two years—learning languages is definitely one of my passions.

I have been working with young children for years as a babysitter, camp counselor, and lifeguard. I will graduate Lexington High School with the class of 2024. I’m also a First Circle Alumna! My favorite thing about working with children is being able to build relationships with them. My approach to teaching prioritizes patience, flexibility, and a positive and friendly attitude. I am to put a smile on each child’s face and help them enjoy themselves. I fill my free time with reading, swimming, biking, and spending time with friends. I am in many clubs at school and serve on the board of a teen organization. My biggest goal is to head to college and pursue a business degree.
