I believe strongly in helping guide children to be creative and to support how they express their individual personalities. I’m inspired by watching children—from infants to pre-k age—grow and meet their milestones; it’s an amazing thing to witness. I think being a mother myself and with all my experiences from sleep schedules, allergies, picky eaters, learning disabilities, to anxiety, makes me a stronger teacher. And being a teacher of all different kiddos with different traditions, backgrounds, routines, makes me a better mother. I love being able to support the parents and make them feel that I am a part of their team for their child/ren, and that we will always work together. I want the children to be excited to come to First Circle by making learning fun for them. Every student should feel proud of their accomplishments. Doing art projects to take home and treasure forever, whether a hand print or the letter of the week, it’s all important. I love snuggling and creating routines with the infants and toddlers, getting hugs and high fives from preschoolers and prekindergarteners.

I live in Framingham with my husband and three teenage daughters.

My interest in working with young children began at home, caring for my little brother and younger cousins. I loved teaching them new things whenever we were together, and that early experience inspired me to build a career helping children learn and grow. Since 2022, I’ve continued that journey in early childhood classrooms, where I’ve gained experience working closely with children and their families.

Families often describe me as kind, easygoing, and soft-spoken. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, and I enjoy helping children express themselves through art, music, movement, and plenty of messy creative projects. Whether we’re painting, dancing, singing, or having an impromptu dance party, I love creating a classroom where children feel free to explore their creativity and have fun learning together.

Outside the classroom, you’ll usually find me drawing, playing video games, going to the gym, cooking or baking, or working on my car. Every year, I attend a video game convention where I enjoy dressing as different game characters and participating in costume contests—a hobby that combines my love of creativity and fun.

I’m continuing my studies in early childhood education and look forward to growing in the field while creating meaningful experiences for children every day. I can be a little shy when you first meet me, but once I’m comfortable, my excitement definitely shows!

I believe that children learn best through various forms of play and teacher-guided interactions where they have the opportunity to be the stars, and I recognize the importance of celebrating diversity so that each child feels included. I believe in providing a classroom environment that allows children to feel relaxed, comfortable, and engaged, so that they are able to fully immerse themselves in learning, and I’m dedicated to fostering strong parent/guardian relationships to help maximize each family’s involvement in their children’s development. It’s important that the children know I care about their parents, and that the parents care about what their children are learning. Having these relationships will make a child feel really good about themselves, which ultimately contributes to a positive learning environment.

In my free time, I really enjoy fishing, walking on nature trails, and admiring fungi. I also love spending time with my friends and my wonderful dogs, Stella and Zoey.
