I love working with children because they are a daily reminder of what really matters in this world. I view teaching as a fantastic responsibility to instill empathy, kindness, joy and a love of learning in our future generations. I really love to laugh and I find children to be hilarious “co-workers”!

I have a lifelong passion for the arts and, specifically, the performing arts. In addition to being a teacher, I am an actor and writer—I recently wrote and starred in a feature length film! I’m also a huge Boston sports fan.

I live in Framingham with my wife, Colleen, and our sons, Teddy and Frankie.

I fell in love with teaching during my time at my first college where I enrolled in a teaching certificate program. The coursework and internship I participated in provided me with many positive experiences and it is where I developed my passion for working with young children. I love watching children learn and grow throughout the course of the school year and being able to form meaningful connections with them and their families. I also value young children’s curiosity and desire to acquire knowledge.

I am passionate about the topics I incorporate into my curriculum and I have a well-rounded understanding of a wide range of subjects. Outer space, dinosaurs, and butterflies are a few of my favorites! I enjoy learning new things with the children, as sometimes I will be reading the class a non-fiction book about a topic and will learn something new right along with them. My educational philosophy is that early childhood education should be play-based, because children learn through play.

I live on my own in Natick. I enjoy reading, crafting, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. My favorite color is turquoise, my favorite animal is the capybara, my favorite children’s book is Tuesday by Wiesner, and my favorite topics to teach children about are outer space and butterflies.
