prekindergarten team

Alyse Wilson

I became certified through a care course and went back to school at Penn Foster to get my child and development certificate. I have been working with children for the past 5 years—at a corporate childcare center, at Little Sprouts in Natick as a preschool/toddler teacher, and as a sub for a local public school. I started as an assistant infant teacher, and from there I became certified in all programs! I plan to get my associate degree in early childhood education and then my BA and become a director certificated—as well as go back to hair school to get my cosmetologist license!

I love the little light bulb moment kids get when they achieve something they have been working on, and the smile they get, and how excited they are! I am a happy bubbly goofball of a person, and there will be days I will be dancing and singing around the classroom. You may also have children having their hair done—if they ask—because I love doing their hair when I have free time. I really enjoy working with children, and my favorite age to work with is pre-k. I love being able to help them grow and get ready for kindergarten!

I live in Framingham, and I live with my daughter, three dogs, a cat, and my ferret! On my own time, I breed bulldogs. I love sports—I was co-captain of my college soccer team. I love the beach and any chance I get in the summer you can find me in Gloucester at my favorite beach, Wingaersheek. I have an Italian family and we all love getting together during the summer and catching up.

Marcel Freda

I am an EEC certified preschool teacher who has worked in the child care and education industry for 20+ years, mostly in my home state of Vermont.

I love working with children because they are a daily reminder of what really matters in this world. I view teaching as a fantastic responsibility to instill empathy, kindness, joy and a love of learning in our future generations. I really love to laugh and I finds children to be hilarious "co-workers"!

I have a a lifelong passion for the arts and, specifically, the performing arts. In addition to being a teacher, I am an actor and writer—I recently wrote and starred in a feature length film! I'm also a huge Boston sports fan. I live in Framingham with my wife, Coleen, and our sons, Teddy and Frankie.
