I began my career in early childhood education before spending several years teaching high school biology. Along the way, I realized my passion was helping young children discover the world around them, so I returned to early childhood education, where I love creating fun, hands-on STEM experiences that spark curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.

One of my favorite things about working with young children is that everything feels new. Every question becomes a discovery, every activity an opportunity to explore. I believe STEM belongs in every classroom and can be adapted for children of any age through meaningful, hands-on experiences.

I earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Western Governors University and a master’s degree in business administration from Fitchburg State University. I believe science, technology, engineering, and math can be introduced in age-appropriate ways at every stage of childhood, encouraging children to ask questions, experiment, and discover how the world works.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy cooking and spending time with my dog. One fun fact about me is that I studied tap dance for 17 years! My favorite children’s book is Corduroy, and nothing makes me smile more than seeing someone get excited about STEM.

I love watching children learn and discover new things—it’s such a fun and exciting thing to witness. I love to do sensory and art projects with my kiddos. Let’s get messy and have some fun!

I live in Worcester with my husband Patrick, our son Benson, our dog Emily, and our cat Theo. We love to spend our free time outside, camping, hiking, and playing with our dog.

My years of experience have given me lots of patience, and a deep love of early childhood education. I grew up with a large extended family, and helped out with my younger cousins whenever I could. When I started working with children in high school, I found that I loved being the source of happiness and care for them. I find it so rewarding knowing I am able to put a smile on their face every day, and they were able to put a smile on mine.

I live in Southborough. I love going to the beach, attending concerts and Red Sox games, traveling, hanging out with friends, and spending time with my family.

I have always had a passion for working with children. I especially love watching the infants experience things for the first time—their joy is infectious! I believe it is important to remember that every child, no matter their age, is their own person and will grow and learn at their own pace. Meet them where they’re at.

I live in Framingham with my son Xander and our cat Sox. When I’m not working, we love to be outdoors as often as possible. We enjoy going to the beach and on short hikes in the nicer weather. I also love all things elephant!
