I received my CNA from Loring Job Corp in 2016. I’ve been working with young children since 2012, at summer camps and other early education centers, which has given me an understanding of early childhood development, patience, communication skills (non-verbal and parental), and the importance of routine and structure.
What truly inspired me to work with children was their unfiltered joy and boundless curiosity. There’s something incredibly rewarding about being present for those “aha”! moments when a child discovers something new, or seeing their face light up with genuine happiness. It’s not just about teaching them, it’s about learning from their fresh perspective on the world. Their energy is infectious and being able to help shape their early experience in a positive way feels incredibly meaningful. It’s a dynamic and never-boring field, and I love feeling like I’m making a real difference in their development.
I am observant and adaptable, organized and prepared, with an even-keeled, calm and patient demeanor, and an empathetic and nurturing approach. I am also fluent in Spanish and American Sign Language.
I’m originally from Puerto Rico. I live in Brockton, with my young daughter. I love reading, going on walks, definitely sleeping, and hanging out with family.
