Rose Scalese

Rose S.

I have been an early childhood educator since 2012. I have a BA in education and a masters in instructional tech in education, both from Curry College. While I currently have no formal plans to continue my education, I always remain open to new opportunities to learn as you can never have too much knowledge about our world.

I have been in the classroom for a long time and I bring a lot of different skills to the table. I like to make sure that every child in my class feels respected and acknowledged and cared for and is happy.

What I love about working with young children is watching their eyes light up when they learn a new thing or skill. I believe that preschool offers a wonderful opportunity to help children to continue to develop their skills and to become individuals.

I am very good with technology and applying it to the classroom learning experience. I have a strong desire and willingness to partner with parents and families to help their students succeed and to help their students to be the best they can be.

Originally from New York, I live in Burlington with my husband and our Shiba Inu, Keiji. I like spending time with my husband and dog. We enjoy going to the movies and traveling to new places—and, of course, Disney World.
