I have a BA in psychology from Wesleyan University, and a master’s in child development from Tufts. I was a classroom educator for 13 years. For nine years I worked as preschool lead teacher and curriculum director at LEAP School Sudbury/Concord/Bedford, and for ten years I was educational programming director at SPARK Kindness.

I have loved working with children since I was a teenager. Not only do I find great joy in interacting with children, but I find children’s behavior, personalities and development endlessly interesting. I love discovering each individual’s profile and strengths and figuring out what support they need to thrive. I am particularly passionate about social-emotional development and early literacy. I have a warm and gentle approach, yet confidently give structure and set behavior limits in positive ways when needed. While I connect easily with all kids, I am especially good at working with children with complex needs and behavior and helping them to thrive. As a mother of two teenagers, I also understand the many demands of family life and how to support parents.

I live in Natick with my husband, our two daughters, my mother, a labradoodle, and two cats. I love walking, watching my kids’ sports, taking my dog to the dog park, puzzles, games, TV, and trips to Lake Winnepesaukee in the summer.
