I graduated from Bridgewater State University with a degree in sociology and child studies, with a focus on early education. I have been working in the field, as a teacher, since 2015.

I love watching children develop new skills through playing and exploring their environment! I am passionate about play-based learning and love teaching through sensory play, as well as outdoor learning. Nature is the best classroom! I also enjoy exploring different themes through literature as well as dramatic play.

My passion for play based-learning and a nature-based curriculum came from my background of being homeschooled in Arizona where I grew up. I did lots of camping and volunteering on a horse farm where I learned through hard work and nature!

I live in with my fiancé and two cats. I love nature walks and going to the beach and I love a good movie night!
