As a play-based program, our belief is that children should have the time and space to play to allow them to develop their imagination and creativity. We know that most children have more than abundant access to screens at home. For these reasons, First Circle is a screen-free environment, ensuring that children engage fully with their environment, peers, and teachers.
Each classroom has a dedicated iPad for teachers to communicate with parents, capture special moments, and complete assessments. While iPads may occasionally supplement learning with administrator approval—such as demonstrating a sign in sign language—they never replace meaningful interactions between teachers and children.
We also believe in keeping rewards personal, engaging and developmentally appropriate, so technology is never used as an incentive. Our focus is always on creating a warm, interactive, and enriching learning experience for every child!
