INJURY PREVENTION

To prevent injury and to ensure a safe environment, First Circle follows the following injury prevention practices:

• Playgrounds are inspected for hazards before use.
• The facility is non-smoking and weapons-free.
• Toxic substances, medications, and cleaning supplies are securely stored away from children.
• Jewelry and clothing with strings/laces that pose a strangulation risk are not allowed.
• First aid kits are available in classrooms, playgrounds, and on field trips, along with emergency contacts.
• All staff are trained in first aid and CPR, and only certified staff may administer first aid.
• Parents are notified immediately of any health or safety concerns regarding their child.
