  • Collaborate with co-teachers to design and implement learning activities in line with First Circle’s curriculum, using a variety of different teaching techniques and methods
  • Balance the art of leading a group while supporting each child’s learning pace, style, interests and needs
  • Support children in successfully meeting all developmental objectives, learning real-world content, and developing their imagination, curiosity, self-esteem and a love for learning. 
  • Serve as role models

qualifications

  • Previous working experience as a child care teacher 
  • EEC Certification*
  • College degree in education or similar relevant field preferred, but not required
  • Certificate in first aid and CPR
  • Additional teaching and/or educational license/certificate is a big advantage
  • In-depth knowledge of child development
  • Must enjoy working with children
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Creative and artistic teaching abilities
